MHK wants people to have a stake


People on the Island should have the chance to share in the fortunes of the Steam Packet Company in the years to come.

That's the view of Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper, following Tynwald's approval of government's proposal to purchase the ferry operator on Tuesday (15 May).

Mr Hooper says the Manx public should be given the chance to invest in the company:
