College course for 36 students this September
The Island's engineering and manufacturing sector was highlighted at an event in Hills Meadow this week.
Those considering a career in the sector - or indeed a career change - had a chance to talk with professionals from several different companies to find out more about the opportunities available.
Students from the Foundation Apprenticeship in Engineering course run in conjunction with IOM College were also there.
They were able to outline what's available at the College to interested parties and encourage those who may want to get started to take up the course this September.
Applications were taken at the event which was held at the Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre just off Peel Road.
Howard Caine spoke to some of those who were exhibiting at the event.
