Quayle to make Tynwald statement on Brexit proposals

Chief Minister, Howard Quayle

Chief Minister to speak about 585-page document

The Chief Minister will make a statement on the UK's Brexit plans at this month's sitting of Tynwald.

Theresa May published the Draft Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union earlier this week, leading to two members of her Cabinet quitting.

The 585-page document only mentions the Isle of Man once.

Howard Quayle will ask for Standing Orders to be suspended at next week's proceedings to deliver a statement about the proposals.
