Tributes pour in for Gary Carswell

The Island's motorcycling community is in shock following the death of one its most experienced road racers.

Gary Carswell was killed in an incident during a practice session at Jurby Motordrome on Saturday.

The TT podium finisher and former Senior Manx Grand Prix winner was 46.

Hundreds of tributes to Gary have been posted on the Manx Radio TT Facebook page.

Manx Radio TT commentator Dave Christian had known him for many years and says he was a popular figure in the paddock.
