Hockey results for Saturday, November 19

Reigning champions Bacchas A have maintained their stranglehold on the PwC Mixed Premier Division.

That’s after they thrashed newly promoted Harlequins A 9-1.

An Andy Whiting hat-trick, doubles from Kim Carney and Tom Wilson and one apiece from Jonny Callow and Freya Duchars did the damage.

Sam Halsall netted for Quins who faded after a bright start.

Valkyrs A saw off Bacchas B 5-2, courtesy of strikes from Luis Novo Smith (two), Juan Killey, Ellen Cleator and Greg Miller.

Karl Moore and Duchars (a scorer for both the A and B team) replied for Baacchas.

Vikings A reached double figures.

They ran out 10-2 winners over Celts, who replied through Robin Masson and Danny Kniveton.

In the second round of the English Hockey Men’s Vase, Ramsey went down 8-1 to a strong Lymm side.

Chris Wells was the scorer with a penalty stroke for Ramsey.
