Special Olympics team to do 12hr events marathon

Athletes to be sponsored

The Isle of Man Special Olympics team is gearing up for a 12 hour marathon.

This Saturday (11 Sept) athletes will be taking on multiple sports non-stop from 9am-9pm at Centre 21.

Those taking part can choose to get involved with as many different activities as they'd like, which range from badminton and golf to Zumba and Bocce.

Each athlete will be sponsored.

You can find a full list of the activities and the times they're on below:

 

Bocce 9am-11am

Golf 11am-12pm

Cycling 12pm-2pm

Football 2pm-4pm

Zumba 4pm-5pm with Michelle Poyzer and friends

Badminton 5pm-6pm

Keep Fit / Games 6pm-8pm

Disco 8pm-9pm
